    • Registration- rodeo office 11a.m. – 3 p.m.
    • Rehearsal rodeo arena 2:00 p.m. MANDATORY
    • Rodeo Performance #1 @ 7:00 p.m. (Wear Blue)
    • Calcutta to follow in the CAP

Friday, August 31 , 2018


    • Annual general meeting 9:00 a.m. MANDATORY
    • Golf Tournament 12:00 p.m. Registration @ 11:30 a.m.
    • Rodeo Performance #2 @ 7:00 p.m.  (Optional: Dare to Wear Pink( breast cancer awareness)
    • Meet and Greet to follow the performance

Saturday, September 1st, 2018


    • Parade @ 10 a.m. – MANDATORY for contestants. $100.00 fine.  Meet behind Ag Corral @ 9:00 to be bussed.
    • Pictures @ arena immediately after the parade.   MANDATORY - $100.00 fine
    • Rodeo performance #3 @ 12:45 p.m. (PLEASE NOTE NEW START TIME)
    •  (Wear purple in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital)
    • Rodeo performance #4 @ 7:00 p.m.
    • Beerfest to follow performance
    • Contestants Social in CAP Arena following performance 

Sunday, September 2nd, 2018


    • Cowboy Worship Service  10:00 a.m. – upstairs in the curling rink
    •  Final Rodeo performance #5 @ 1:00 p.m. (Wear orange)
    • Awards following final performance in Arena

 

FINALS GROUND RULES

  1. Personal Sponsors cannot be announced by an announcer.  
  1. Contestants must wear proper cowboy attire with their back numbers on and will not be allowed to wear jackets during the grand entry. Barrel racers will be exempt from having to have their numbers on their backs as most put their numbers on their saddle pads. Contestants are also required to run on or show some enthusiasm as they are putting on a show for the spectators. Appropriate fines will be assessed to anyone failing to follow these procedures.
  1. It is mandatory that contestants attend the Annual General Meeting and parade Saturday at 10 AM. If you have candy you must walk beside the float and hand it out. Immediately following the parade contestants will have their picture taken in the arena. Contestants not abiding by these rules will be fined $100.00. Resulting in no competition until paid.

  1. Absolutely NO SELF PENNING contestants not abiding by these rules will be fined $100.00 resulting in no competition until paid. There will be no warnings, fines will be levied.   NO STRAW bulk shavings will be supplied.
